EIIF: Emotional Investment
Are you sexy? Do you know it? GREAT! Now why do we care? Is it because of a deep sadness of never truly being noticed in high school because everyone noticed your fit older brother and he stole all the attention? Whether or not your character ever says out loud the emotion that they are portraying it should be obvious, fun and add to the scene. Also saying it out loud is perfectly acceptable too because we do not have time to be coy in improv. In this workshop we will explore the basic emotions and expand on them to ground our characters into people that the audience can connect with, laugh at or with and want to see!
