Elevate the emotional stakes of your scenes to the point of song (and learn how to stay grounded while singing).
Stephanie approaches musical improv as an extension of the emotional muscle inside every performer. Your singing ability is far less important than the pursuit of honest feeling and connection in the scene. The only difference is the extra scene-partner that is the piano, which enters to further realise what's being created in the scene.
All levels of experience are welcome. No music background is required.

Edinburgh International Improv Festival is in its 5th year and we are back bigger, stronger and bolder than ever!
The festival has become one of the biggest and most important improv festivals in Europe and we are delighted to be back at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
We have an incredible line-up of workshops from some of the BEST improvers in the US including members from popular New York improv show RaaaatScraps and veteran performers at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Join us in 2023 for more fun and laughter.
