Gillebrìde MacMillan: Freumhan Falaichte – Hidden Roots

Performing self-penned songs from his highly acclaimed album Freumhan Falaichte – Hidden Roots, South Uist born singer - and bard of Outlander - Gillebrìde MacMillan deals with a range of personal, cultural and political issues, linking Gaelic song with contemporary rhythms and arrangements. For this performance Gillebrìde is joined by a stellar cast of musicians - Fraser Fifield on whistle and kaval, Ewan MacPherson on guitar and Donald Hay on percussion. This concert will also feature well-known, Edinburgh-based, storyteller, Martin MacIntyre.
