Audrey Parks: A Tribute

Audrey Parks was a valued and highly respected member of the Scottish storytelling community, however when Audrey died at the age of 94 in September 2020 restrictions stood in the way of a gathering to celebrate her life.
Join us on the day after St Patricks Day, as we celebrate Audrey's life through story and song, from her childhood in Belfast to her lasting legacy of stories still being told.
The night will be hosted by Claire McNicol with contributions from friends including Bea Ferguson, Marion Kenny, Jack Martin, Donald Smith and Heather Yule, as well as musical contributions from Audrey's granddaughter Ailsa, a talented young multi-instrumentalist.
Audrey’s home was always full of the best welcome, she had food in the eating place, drink in the drinking place and story, music and song in the listening place. In that spirit, if you would like to come early for food the Haggis Box Cafe will have their usual food options available (including Haggis!).
All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the Scottish Storytelling Forum's continued work, which Audrey was so central in supporting.
A booking fee of £1.25 is charged per transaction for online and phone bookings.
If you are a Storytelling Centre Supporter please add a full price ticket to the basket. Your discount will be automatically added at checkout. Only applicable to a full price ticket without food.
This event is being sold at full capacity without social distancing. Audiences are required to wear masks at all times, unless medically exempt.
