Storytelling

Toilet Tales

(Sat 19 Nov: 7pm)

Join storytellers Jackie Ross, Nicola Wright and special guests in celebrating World Toilet Day with an evening of stories, quizzes and fascinating historical facts about the necessary thing we all need to do – go to the loo. Discover the uses of urine through the ages, find out the origin of the term spend a penny and other toilet euphemisms and learn the amazing uses for pigeon poo. The sponge on a stick will be passed around so members of the audience are welcome to share their own toilet tale and there is a chance to win some fabulous toilet themed prizes.

All monies raised will go to charity Toilet Twinning, which helps thousands of people across the world get access to clean water and sanitation.
