Edinburgh International Improv Festival

EIIF: The Imposters & Affirmative Action

(Sat 4 March: 9:45pm)

Don't miss this hour from Scotland's most northerly improvisers The Imposters and Toronto's Affirmative Action.

The Imposters hail from Shetland, where they are the only improv troupe within their island community of 22,000 people. They've been performing together since 2016 and every year make the long journey to join us at the Edinburgh International Improv Festival.

Affirmative Action are familiar faces to the Toronto, Canada improv scene. They perform six to eight times a month on shows such as All of us are Asian, Friday Night Confessional, Stories in the 6ix and BeerBeer Comedy. Individually their members are Second City Conservatory grads, commercial actors, podcasters, writers for Canadian satire news site The Beaverton, stand up comedians and Canadian TV writers.

The festival has become one of the biggest and most important improv festivals in Europe and we are delighted to be back at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
