Solar Flares: Deaf Heritage

For Deaf Awareness Week, this special film screening event and panel discussion showcases new films created by Deaf artists and commissioned by Solar Bear for the Solar Flares: Deaf Heritage project. Developed over the last three years, films by Tania Allan, Manjeet Cross and Andrew Pettigrew explore topics of deaf folklore, deaf identity and disability.

The films will be captioned in English and the event and panel discussion will be British Sign Language interpreted.

Solar Bear have produced an informational video in BSL about the project.
