The Scottish Storytelling Centre is delighted to be hosting the launch of a book by writer and storyteller Dougie Strang.
Published by Birlinn, The Bone Cave is a vivid account of a journey through the Scottish Highlands following a series of folktales and myths to the places in which they're set. Travelling mostly on foot and camping along the way amid some of Scotland's most beautiful and rugged landscapes, Dougie encounters a depth of meaning to the tales that offers a unique perspective on the relationship between place, culture, land ownership and ecological stewardship, as well as insight into his own entanglement with place.
