Guid Crack: A Place in History

Join us for historical stories of castles and people from the past with our guest storyteller this month, Elaine Robertson. Elaine is a traditional oral storyteller working in Central Scotland. Brought up in Midlothian, her love of folklore began as a child reading stories from all over the world but especially Traveller tales. She is an active member of the Burgh Blatherers storytelling group, contributing to their 2022 publication From the Burgh and Beyond.
Edinburgh’s monthly storytelling club returns home to the upstairs of the Waverley Bar, with the usual open-floor section for anyone to share a story, song or poem around the theme or otherwise.
This event is entry by donation on the night.
