EIIF: Ghost Fish & Redacted Theatre Company
(Sat 2 Mar: 6pm)
A Glaswegian Harold and some LA Narrative in a double bill.
Ghost Fish are one of the all-time great improv groups from Glasgow -- hugely influential at sea, and terrifying on land. To some they are one of the standard-bearers for how good, funny and legal long-form improv can be. At their best, they play manic silliness and slow, impatient moments in the same show while abiding by all applicable maritime and supernatural laws. They're all dead humans who are now human-looking ghost fish.
Los Angeles-based Redacted Theatre Company will create a play before your eyes using a unique blend of grounded yet goofy narrative improv. It’s funny, they promise! It’s LA-flavoured narrative improv, with a cast made up of experienced UCB and WGIS mainstage performers. You’ll even see some familiar faces from last year’s Ed Improv Fest!
