EIIF: Ensemble Teams

Laugh along with two very special teams.

The Ed Improv Fest Ensemble Teams are made up of improvisers picked from all around the world who meet for the first time during the festival. They meet on Thursday and perform together on Sunday. This leads to teams featuring a mix of backgrounds, theatres, cities and improv training.

This year’s Ensemble Teams will be coached by the wonderful Billy Merritt and Monika Smith. Both are long-time improvisers and highly respected teachers. The energy and magic that Ensemble Teams bring to the stage is something very special. Enjoy these one of a kind performances.

Edinburgh International Improv Festival 2024 is a four day celebration of long-form improv, with teams and performers from around the world converging on the Scottish Storytelling Centre for a long weekend of creativity, community and connection.

With shows, workshops and late night jams, join EIIF for a weekend of one of a kind, never to be repeated shows, moments of surprise and delight, and unique opportunities to connect with some of the best improvisers in the world. This year, this includes two of Los Angeles' best teams: Holy Shit Improv and World’s Greatest Improv School’s The Bozos.
