Join Billy Merritt and Monika Smith for a night of improvised comedy as they reunite to bring their hit UCB show Form Night to Edinburgh. Each show was dedicated to a different improv format, from classic forms all the way to the experimental. Together they will introduce you to the improv format The Movie.

Smith and Merritt have both toured the world performing and teaching improv for more than a decade and now they are bringing that knowledge to you. Laugh and learn about The Movie as Billy and Monika explore the format with some friends old and new.

Edinburgh International Improv Festival 2024 is a four day celebration of long-form improv, with teams and performers from around the world converging on the Scottish Storytelling Centre for a long weekend of creativity, community and connection.

With shows, workshops and late night jams, join EIIF for a weekend of one of a kind, never to be repeated shows, moments of surprise and delight, and unique opportunities to connect with some of the best improvisers in the world. This year, this includes two of Los Angeles' best teams: Holy Shit Improv and World’s Greatest Improv School’s The Bozos.
