How can the body be both a tool for investigating a story, and a means of communicating with an audience? This workshop led by Jo Blake will empower you to connect with your audience through movement and voice to progress your skills and confidence. All bodies welcome in a creative and supportive environment, with an emphasis on exploration and curiosity. Please come with a story in mind that you feel happy to work with.
Jo Blake is a performer, director, facilitator, teacher and curator whose performance practice sits at the intersection of storytelling, dance and theatre. She had a PhD in Emergent Storytelling Practices and is curious about the transformative power of embodied myth and acts of narration as cultural therapeutics.
