Sangs and Clatter/Piosenki i Gwar

(Tue 21 May: 7pm)

Edinburgh's Scottish Polish Cultural Association, with support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland and Kraków City Council, presents an evening showcasing the artistic output of Scotland, Poland and Ukraine.

This year's concert celebrates the well-established links between Edinburgh and Kraków, with the songs of Scotland's national bard Robert Burns sung by Nicola Anderson and a short story from writer and actor Dave Robb. Also featuring the contemporary songs of Poland's Tamara Kalinowska, a well-established singer-songwriter both in her own right and at Kraków's famous cabaret club Piwnica Pod Baranami. Natalya Ditkovska playing Bach represents Edinburgh's Ukrainian community, plus a display from the Ukrainian dance studio Kvity Ukrainy.
