Easy Sundays: Starting with Step Dance

Step Dance is Scotland’s indigenous percussive dance tradition: a magical combination of music and movement. Led by expert tutor Pat Ballantyne with musical accompaniment by fantastic fiddler-piper duo Sarah Hoy and Fin Moore, this introductory session is for anyone interested in taking their first steps in one of Scotland’s most thrilling Traditional Dance forms in a relaxed environment.

This event is part of Easy Sundays, a fortnightly session of stories, music, community and friendship, with a variety of activities for all to enjoy. Supported by TRACS (Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland) and the Scottish Storytelling Centre to create a warm and welcoming space for the community.
