Don’t miss the next fantastic show from Scotland’s best spoken word night! From laugh-out-loud funny, through the wonderfully surreal, to the thoughtful and emotional – Loud Poets continue to prove that Spoken Word has something for everyone.

Sofia Siren is a Finnish-born spoken word artist. She has become a familiar face on Aberdeen's stages where she is often found exploring themes of sex positivity, mental health, shame, desire and deviance. She has also performed at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Hysteria and Sofar Sounds.

Stephen James Smith is an Irish poet who has performed with people like Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Patti Smith and Bono (U2) in places from the Nuyorican Poetry Café in New York to the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris and many more places in between. Follow him online @sjswords.

Roshni Gallagher is a poet from Leeds living in Edinburgh. Her debut pamphlet Bird Cherry is published by Verve Poetry Press. She is a winner of the 2022 Edwin Morgan Poetry Award and Scottish Book Trust’s New Writers Award. Her work has appeared in a variety of literary publications including Best Scottish Poems, Gutter and Propel. In her work she explores themes of nature, memory, and quietness. Malaika Kegode is an award-winning writer, performer and creative producer based in Bristol. Her work is focused on uplifting and celebrating the overlooked and misunderstood. Beginning her arts career as a performance poet, Malaika has developed her practice to encompass theatre, radio, and film writing. In 2022 she was the recipient of the Kevin Elyot Award and her work has been featured on BBC Radio 4 and Black Ballad; her poetry collections are published by Burning Eye Books.
