“Loud Poets is tearing up the landscape, bringing the ancient art to contemporary audiences – spreading mirth, giggles and talent along the way.” - Corr Blimey

“Go listen to Loud Poets and hear them say the things you’ve been trying to say yourself.” - Shane Koyczan

“There’s a humour, poignancy and most of all confidence which serves to inspire.” - The Scotsman

Kim Moore’s pamphlet If We Could Speak Like Wolves was a winner in the 2011 Poetry Business Pamphlet Competition. Her first collection The Art of Falling won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize while her second collection All The Men I Never Married won the 2022 Forward Prize for Best Collection. A hybrid book of lyric essays and poetry Are You Judging Me Yet? Poetry and Everyday Sexism was published by Seren in March 2023. She is a lecturer in Creative Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Andrés N. Ordorica is a queer Latinx writer based in Edinburgh. His writing maps the journey of his diasporic experience and unpacks what it means to be from ni de aquí, ni de allá. He has been published widely including the Guardian, The Skinny, bath maag, Gutter and Poetry Unbound. His poetry collection At Least This I Know which was shortlisted for the Saltire Society’s Poetry Book of The Year. His forthcoming fiction debut How We Named The Stars will be released in February 2024 with Tin House.

Rosa Moxham is a Glasgow based artist, writer and performance poet. Her practice uses cut and paste methods interwoven with anecdotes to create relatable narratives often regarding issues faced by workers in precarious industries. She has performed at a wide array of events and exhibitions in Scotland, including a poetry showcase with the BBC’s Words First as well as multiple events organised by various trade unions. Rosa enjoys working collectively and has participated in a number of collaborative projects.

Gordon Powrie (AKA The Emile Durkheim of asinine rhyme) strikes again with twisted syllables depicting the end of times through the lens of an incurable case of obsessive pop culture disorder. Imagine if Charlie Brooker and John Cooper Clarke accidentally used the same teleportation chamber at the same time. This is the goop that would come out the other side.
