Exhibition: Duets
Festival of International Traditional Dance (Part of Edinburgh Tradfest)
(Sun 26 Mar - 1 May)
Opening ahead of Pomegranates 2023, the Storytelling Court will host the dance and drawing exhibition Duets. Duets is the first solo show in Scotland by Gabriel Schmitz one of the newly commissioned artists-in-residence at this year’s festival.
Duets features a hand-picked selection of the artist’s dance drawings, dance cut outs, dance paintings and video recordings from his dance and drawing live events at the Venetian Palazzo Mora from the accompanying programme at 59th Venice Biennale 2022.
Join Iliyana Nedkova, one of the Pomegranates festival curators, for a guided tour of the exhibition at the start of each festival day at Scottish Storytelling Centre.
