Easy Sundays: Storm and Shore

Part of Edinburgh Tradfest

(Sun 7 May: 3pm)

An Irish aid worker with post-traumatic stress and an English artist working through life issues, seek sanctuary close to nature on a remote Argyll coast. But their presence stirs old memories and ghosts. They find themselves drawn towards each other, and towards the people and stories of a place with its own troubled past.

Storyteller and author Donald Smith evokes a bardsaga for our times and reflects on our need for contemporary solace and sanctuary close to nature. Followed by discussion.

Storm and Shore - A Bardsaga by Donald Smith is recently published by Luath Press and is available to purchase in the Scottish Storytelling Centre bookshop.
